Guest guest
Dear Narasimhayeji: Namaste! I'm glad the discussion of the Vedas has come up. I have a couple of questions about these versions that are being offered by Rudra Centre. Are the books that are mentioned individually the same ones that are being offered in the set, but just sold on their own? Are these complete versions of the Vedas or are they a selection? My understanding is that the Veda's are such a huge collection of hymns that it would take many volumes to present them all. Is there a transliteration of the Sanskrit into English as well as a translation so that those who have difficulty with the Devanagari can follow the Sanskrit? Also, can you tell us something about the physical books themselves; ie how many pages, what kind of binding, the size of the books, who they are published by and any other information that would help me know more about them, so I can make an informed purchase. And lastly is there an index to words and phrases or some kind of cross reference of key phrases that would help a person to find verses on different subjects? Like my fellow member I would be very interested to have a complete set of the Vedas for my studies of Sanatana Dharma. It is so vital for those who are on the spiritual quest. Thanks for providing much information and resources.
