IDOL worship necessary?

Getting back to the topic, Ms Neeta Ji mentioned that " since we

cannot perceive the formless, we worship idols by giving a form to

existence. Most idols in prominent temples are energized by

enlightened Master/Gurus before they leave their bodies and thus they

carry the energy of the Guru and bless the devotee. The samadhis of

the Gurus are found under the idols. "
