Good that your son began wearing Lord Hanuman Locket after touching it to the statue of Hanumanji. Karya Siddhi Yantra Locket can first be worn on Sunday after simple offerings of flowers, fruit, milk, honey, sweets, oil lamp and incense. Repeat the mantra : Om Hreem shreem Kleem Mam Sarva Karya Sadhay Sadhay Swaha. After 108 repetitions, wear the yantra locket. Make the same puja offerings and repeat the mantra every 3 months. Crystal mala should first be worn on a Friday morning after bath. Shree Yantram should be kept in the middle of the altar. Laxmi wealth box can be placed in front of Shree Yantram.
