Namaskar Sundeep,

The information given to you a fews ago by Rudra Centre is still

correct in that 17 Mukhi represents Lord Vishwakarma (Builder of the

Universe, expert in crafting and creativity) and 18 Mukhi represents

Bhumi Devi.

Lord Vishwakarma 17 mukhi is believed to make the wearer rich in a

short span of time for example : sudden wealth from inheritance,

games of chance, rise in share prices, rise in property prices, etc.

As more information became available from Katyayani Puran its added

that 17 mukhi also represents Mata Katyayani who bestows all 4

attainments of life - dharma, arth, kaam and moksha. Mata Katyayani

is an auspicious Goddess who adds to the quality of life for Her

devotees.

An interpretation in, or from, the Katyayani Purana (without exactly

saying so but the chances are higly likely to be so) after

transliteration in English seems that after 17 mukhi bestows sudden

materialistic wealth, its decribed in the book by rudraksha expert

Sri Kamal Narayan Seetha (The Power of Rudraksha, pages 83 and 84)

that " the wearer of this rudraksha (Bhumi) remains wealthy and free

of all diseases. "

The book mentioned above is the most up to date in the world about

rudraksha. If you are interested in getting a copy, have a look here:

It costs $6.25 and contains a lot of valuable information. In the

book, its also mentioned that :

" Eighteen mukhi rudraksha is recommended for those who are launching

major properties, new works of any type or making a change in the

business line. Those engaged in Gayatri Sadhana will find it very

useful to meditate and to get concentration. " Women who have

frequent abortions will benefit by wearing this bead. Its also good

for the health of children.

The difference between Java and Nepal beads are in most cases the

price and size. Those who like big sizes and can afford them, will

get them. Those with on a strict budget would select Java beads.

Also those who personally prefer small beads, would also go for small

beads.

If you prefer the bigger Nepali beads and can't afford both 17 and 18

mukhis at once, it would be advisable to buy once bead first. Then

save money again to get the other bead later.

Meanwhile, ponder and meditate which bead you would like to obtain

first and get it. The Upaguru will give you guidance about which

bead is good for you.

Om Bholenath
