Namaste Rajesh,

While its fine to wear Water Bead as a pendant, its preferable not to

do so. This is because the bead will then collect grit, dirt, sweat

and other bodily chemicals.

When the water bead is taken off for soaking water again overnight, its

not clean and healthy to drink the liquid in the morning. Water bead

is a slightly different type of rudraksha in species name and they are

cheap to purchase at $5.50 for 3 beads all in 5 mukhi:

A 5 mukhi proper rudraksha bead is also not expensive to buy. If your

relative wants to wear 5 mukhi as a pendant, its best to get one at:

/dispProductlist.php?subcatId=10

If your relative would use the Water Bead for its intended purpose and

not for wearing, it would help health-wise. He can obtain a separate 5

mukhi pendant for wearing. This will solve 2 purposes:

a) Water beads for soaking in water and drinking it clean the next

morning.

b) Wearing of a proper 5 mukhi rudraksha for blessings from Lord Shiva.
