But I think once it has been energised and pranpratista has been done and installed, it should neither be allowed to touch by others nor should be moved from its place.

Namaste Narsimhaye,

While cleaning up my Altar during this Diwali, I noticed that the gold plating of my Ganesh Yantra was peeling of on the back side from the corners. Unfortunately my Ganesh Yantra doesn't have a Frame as I was under the impression that the plating was pretty long lasting. Now that this is happening, what will be the best way to preserve the Yantra. Getting a Frame for the same and framing it is the only option that I can think of.

Would appreciate your advice.

Jai Ganesha
