If you have time, the puja can be performed daily. If your schedule is busy, then do the puja on Monday mornings after taking a bath or shower. The puja ritual is here:

For strengthening Moon, 2 Mukhi Rudrakshas will benefit. Two Mukhi rules over the Moon and rudrakshas do not have side effects. Would like to suggest the wearing of a Personalized Mala consisting 3, 5 or 9 beads of Two Mukhi Rudraksha of Indian Origin. If three beads of Nepal origin are within your budget, then its fine to just wear three of the Nepali beads..
