Guest guest
Namaste Gina, Good to see you. Your experience at the lake is auspicious and you've indeed been blessed by Lord Shiva. His Darshan extended further in the form of the doe which came out of the woods to eat oats from your hand. Its mentioned in some holy texts that Shiva sometimes appear to devotees in the forms of different animals. This is also mentioned in some Aghora lineages. You've given your friend (although she'd always done you harm) the greatest friendship of all, i.e. unconditional friendship. She is very fortunate to have you for a friend. Others would not be as forgiving, understanding and magnanimous towards someone who'd done them harm. There is a saying that " What comes round, goes around " . For your spontaniety and generosity of spirit, more blessings from Shiva will manifest as time goes. Shiva's darshan on that day was a spiritual signpost too. It rained in the park/lake but not on yourself and your friend. The pieces of cloth you got smelled nicely of perfume while your friend's cloths stank. It shows you're making great progress while your friend is far behind and has yet a lot more to learn. It being on a Monday has a special significance. Monday is Shiva'a day. All the items that were found, can be placed on the altar. The sticker should be left to dry and framed also for keeping on the altar. It may be possible that someone set the puja items afloat before they reached your side of the shore and sank, But you were the one who found them, not someone else. If the items weren't meant for you to find, you never would have discovered them. Its a sign to begin puja to Shiva again if you haven't done it for a long time. If possible, perform a puja to thank Shiva for His Darshan at the lakeside on a Monday when there's no wind. After that, puja can be done at home each Monday. The mantra is : Om Namah Shivaya Shivaya Namah Om " . As time goes when you reach a certain stage of the pujas, more answers will appear and your Upaguru will guide you further.
