Guest guest
Namaste. I read srimad devibhagabatm,Brahmanas should to wear rudraksha, when they do vedic ritual. Is this not correct? There is no strict rule that Brahmanas have to wear rudraksha malas during rituals. Some of them do not know where to find genuine rudrakshas. They wear a holy thread and other malas that were given to them by their family or gurus. There is no sin. Shaivaites wear rudraksha. Vaishnavites would wear Tulasi Mala or Lotus Mala or Sphatik Mala. Devi worshippers wear a mixture of different malas. It all depends on their background and lineage what they wear.
