Guest guest
Namaste Aksha.Rudra, We all respect Shri K.N. Seethaji very much and know that he is a great scholar. Different people use different spellings for GuNg provided they know there are variations of Gang, Gam and Gum out there. The same for Om. We all know that its the same as Aum except the English spelling is different. Regarding GuNg, Neetaji will tell you that GuNg is correct. Those who have studied Tamil Siddha texts will also tell you that GuNg is correct. Technically Gam, Gum and Gang are correct tool i.e. if they are pronounced silently. For reciting out loud, try saying GuNg with your tongue suspended between the roof and the base of your mouth. This will give you the correct sound.
