I was told by someone and also read on the net that people who have too much kapha dosha suffer from a lot of phlegm formation in their respiratory tract ( especially the upper part). Some symptoms are chronic sneezing, allergic bronchitis etc.etc. I have this syndrome wherein certain food items like having too much milk or milk products and oily food items lead to formation of phlegm and this further leads to continous itching in upper throat,sneezing and runny nose ( similar to cold & flu sysmptoms). Well this is hereditary and my father, myself and my brother suffer from it although in there case the symptoms are slightly different than mine. I have tried a lot of medication from Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Homeo etc. Allopathic medication gives immediate relief only with a lot of side effects, Homeo and Ayurvedic medication could not be continued in the long term due to various reasons but did offer relief. However I have had some relief after I started wearing rudraksha some years back and I now very clearly know why Upaguru insisted on the Siddh Mala from last year which I now wear with even more respect.
