Guest guest
Namaste Anil, So sorry and saddened to hear the news. Its indeed shocking that life is so vulnerable and can be taken from us within the blinking of an eye sometimes. In the case of your friend's son, its especially sad as he was only 9 years old. Should he have lived, there's so much for him to do, growing up, going to college/university, getting a job, getting married and having his own children one day. Sending sincere condolences to your friend and prayers for the boy's soul to be in the blessed lap of God with peace. Its so true what you said about mankind striving for the stars and not paying much attention to our nearest and dearest till something takes them away from us. Unfortunately sometimes it takes sad incidents for us to wake up and take notice. It was nice that everyone said " God " when you were at your friend's place. Unfortunately about religious fundamentalists, they will always use the flag of religion to convert others. Maybe what they say about Kali Yuga has some grains of truth in it. Regardless, it will be more important if the majority of people understand that it is all the Same God even though under different names and paths. And all paths lead to the summit eventually. Slower for some, faster for others. You are correct that attaining knowledge and bliss will provide answers to the " whys " .
