Namaste Narasimhaye & Members,

Day before yesterday was a sad day for me, a friends nine year old son was killed in an accident. A very cute kid, full of life just vanished suddenly. Needless to say everyone is heartbroken.

In between all the hustle and bustle of our daily life we miss out on spending time with our near and dear one's and suddenly one day when they are no more we realize the emptiness and miss their presence. Man in general keeps on striving to reach higher goals of self sufficiency and looses out on the real blessings that God/ess gives and when he is shaken and suddenly brought back to reality he just can't reconcile with it.

We plan for so many years in to the future without even realizing the fact that even the prick of a Thorn in the next moment is enough to kill us.

While I was at my friends place, I noticed something intriguing, my friend ( a Christian and his other christian friends), his sponsor ,a Local Arab -Muslim and myself - a Hindu, we just couldnot agree more on the fact that whatever we have is what God gives and takes it back when the purpose is over and we all prayed that may the boy's soul rest in peace with God. Everyone was saying God and not Allah, Jesus or Shiva.

I just ponder why we all, irrespective of religion, believe and accept a Higher power that controls everything in the Universe, don't agree and reconcile and try to live in peace.

When a sad or unfortunate incident happens, we all take faith and re-assurance in each other but after sometime go about preaching what we think is the correct.

Look at the conversions being done by Christian Missionaries, The Muslim Terrorists trying to force others to accept their views by spreading panic and hate, The Hindu Fundamentalist trying to force his way brutally by killing without provocation.

WHY in the name of religion ??? WHY WHY WHY

Sometimes I feel like blaming God/ess for everything but then after sometime better sense prevails and I realize that there must be someone reason why things Happen the way they are happening .. Some Cause and Effect principle at work....

I guess our quest to attain pure knowledge & Bliss will provide the answer to all the WHY's above.
