Namaste Parthi,

Ms Neetaji of Rudra Centre has adviced of a much better way for

cleaning rudraksha by avoiding soap totally :

Soak the beads in water with lemon juice for 12 to 15 hours. Lemon

juice helps bleach the beads to a brighter color. Scrub with a hard

brush. Leave beads to dry in the shade for 12 hours in warm climate.

After beads are completely dry, oil must be applied.
