Guest guest
Namaste Kilan, Reciting the Names of God for 108 times or a Beeja Mantra for 108 times are similar in that a person is performing mantra sadhana to gain blessings from God/dess. Some people prefer chanting the 108 Names and others prefer to perform the Moola Mantra. Either way, if bhakti is pure, there will be good results. Is the effect of this japa same as chanting the root mantra of the God and Goddess ? For example the mula mantra of Lord Ganesha that is OM GUNG GANAPATIYE NAMAHA AND 108 NAMES OF LORD GANESHA IS THERE ANY DIFFERENT OR IT IS THE SAME ? > > OM NAMAH SHIVAYA >
