Guest guest
Namaste Richard, Thank you for the comforting words and advice. Un fortunately, it does not behoove me to pursue ANY type of " yoga " at this time; referential to injuries with the spine, I cannot contort this mortal coil into those positions. In fact, I have much difficulty with the simple act of sitting. Or walking. Kinetic movement and flexibility of any type are not my forte right now... But it is certainly something to keep in mind for the future, as I hope to regain some of the above! ( A nominal nod to linear time,as it were LOL There must be a bazillion types of yoga, too...sigh. So my meditational efforts take place with eyes closed, and ignoring the body -whatever position it is in. Perhaps this explains why my efforts are not crossing that blissful rubicon yet? No matter, God/dess is gracious, and I think understands my intentions. Note to Narasimhayeji: my deference is to the knowledge base and recommendations of those such as yourself who are well-versed in areas I am a basic dolt with! I listen to Upaguru, but also advice, yes? If I were a healthy and able-bodied man, I expect I might climb the summit of a large mountain and sit there, growing a long-flowing beard, until I am enlightened! Maybe the wild yaks who live in those regions communicate deep wisdom to their neighbors...ha ha ha. Meanwhile I am grateful for the voices of those on this forum, and I'd bet no one smells like a goat, either !!! So, since my mind has to compensate for the uncooperative flesh-suit, I am more concerned with the interior than trying to focus on the seeming limitations. But I will locate and peruse this book, thank you. In Divine Love and Peace, Gina
