Guest guest
Greetings, Gina: My 2 cents worth: The experience you describe is actually a common and " good " phenomena and indeed is seen fairly early during initial Kriya* Yoga meditation practice. The deeper levels take one through the dark spot in the " eye " into other experiences. Unfortunately, one cannot say more in this forum as what happens thereafter is intensely personal and kept confidential by most practitioners. I also noticed that since I started wearing the higher (14 and above) Rudraksha, such phenomena now comes spontaneously during the working day. With very best wishes. *Read Autobiography of a Yogi by Yogananda (for more background on the above) , " paxetamo " <mirmade wrote: > > > Namaste, > > In the process of attempting to access the deeper levels of > alpha/theta brain waves, etc during meditation, has anyone ever had > the startling experience of an eye looking back? > With eyes closed, and the gaze or focus directed to the middle of the > forehead, what does it mean to see a large & vivid indigo eye looking > back, with a golden-hued flowing perimeter around it? > > Notice, please, that I specified 'attempting', as this only seems to > happen when the effort expended is intense yet thwarted by some > extraneous distractions or inward turbulence?! > In fact, it seems that the golden-hued energy flowing around the > perimeter ( it is never a static thing) occludes the indigo eye. > Extremely difficult to express, describe or articulate this odd event; > the only analogy is to imagine how a big puffy cloud can be all around > the moon and occlude the direct sight of it, then the moon reappears, > only for this to reoccur over & over. > > I comprehend the indigo eye, but cannot connect with it secondary to > this other colored energy obscuring it time & time again. > Have already asked Ganesha to assist in removing the seeming obstacle. > > Can anyone offer some advice or 'insight'?
