My 2 cents worth:

 

The experience you describe is actually a common and " good " phenomena

and indeed is seen fairly early during initial Kriya* Yoga meditation

practice.

 

The deeper levels take one through the dark spot in the " eye " into

other experiences. Unfortunately, one cannot say more in this forum as

what happens thereafter is intensely personal and kept confidential by

most practitioners.

 

I also noticed that since I started wearing the higher (14 and above)

Rudraksha, such phenomena now comes spontaneously during the working day.
