Guest guest
Forward: Siddh Mala Configuration Dear Vinay, Namaste . The first Siddh mala in the world was prepared by us . And we had this configuration on website , which was copied the world over . The ancient scriptures only state that a person should try to wear all mukhis and wearing all the types of mukhis , makes a person Shiva swaroopa . Other than this , no count of beads or configuration or the word "Siddh mala " is mentioned anywhere . Katyani Purana does mention in Indrakshi mala reference that " A mala made of one one bead each of 1 mukhi till 21 mukhi , is called Indrakshi mala " . For count , the scriptures do mention the number of beads to be worn on different parts of the body , but no specific "mukhi" is referenced in that That reference is used in designing meditation dress . We have moved on , to having one bead each of every type of mukhi to make the mala more compact and wearable ... other websites would follow suit soon Loka Samasta Sukino BhavantuOM Shan'ti Shan'ti Shan'ti "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Mahatma Gandhi In love and light ,NeetaRudra Centrehttp://www.rudracentre.comJoin Rudraksha Beads Societies Club/FAQ : /Help/index.html - vinay jauhari Rudra Centre Saturday, July 26, 2008 1:22 AM Siddha Mala Configuration Hi Neetaji, As per rudraksha forums, the following configuration for Siddha mala is recommended: > 2 Mukhi x 3 > 3 Mukhi x 3> 4 Mukhi x 3> 5 Mukhi x 3> 6 Mukhi x 3> 7 Mukhi x 3> 8 to 14 Mukhi x 1 each> Gaurishankar -1 > 1 Mukhi half moon-1> Ganesh -1> Total 27+1 = 28Is the above authenticated by any religous scriptures..?
