But we face happy and sad events one after the other.Never pure and constant happiness. In the end we come to know that happiness and sorrow are our teachers. They try to teach us that the happiness we looking for is not outside. Then we turn inwards and find who we are really. Then we do not depend on outside world for happiness. Because we realise it from within. Whenever we tend to forget this truth, we fall into misery. So always look within, never without.

Guest guest
What Swamiji said is beautifuly explained by Adi Guru Sankaracharya in his composition Sri Dakshinamurthy Stotram: "........the one who on realization sees that all the world that appears outside is indeed a reflection of his own self as an image seen in a mirror which appears outside..." and in another verse "..the one who on realization sees that all the world outside is like visualization seen in a dream which during sleep seems outside one's self but on waking up disappears becuase it was an illusion inside...." You are the whole existence...there is nothing outide of you so look within. Your own self is the very substratum...you are the light by which all the world outside appears to shine and exist. Guest guest
Namaste Hiroko-chan, You are welcome. Yes, compromise is very important in the Japanese household. Its a culture where elders have to be obeyed. When you don't obey them, you don't need to show them when you are outside. Example: There are many Japanese schoolgirls and boys who hang around Harajuku. They wear very weird clothes, play loud music, drink and dance. This is the young fashion for Japanese youngsters. Most parents and grand-parents would not like this. So the girls and boys don't show this behavior or wear weird clothes when they are at home. I'm glad you are feeling healed by the words. Of course you will find your true path eventually. Very glad that you believe in it too. Its important to believe. By believing, there is hope. Om Namah Shivaya ====================== Namaste. Thanks for your kindly advice. You know everything about Japan. the compromise is necessary, too. I am helped by rudraksha. " " " Rudraksha has nothing to do with problems at home. Rudrakshas are worn by individuals for spiritual purposes and for self betterment. Slowly everyone will find their true path, find solutions to problems and avenues to move forward to a good future. " " " I am healing this word. I definitely find my ture path. I believe. Om
