Rudraksha Beeja Mantras

Namaste,

 

There had been a few posts in the past teaching Rudraksha's owners to

chant rudraksha beeja mantras for energizing the bead. Beeja mantras as

indicated in the Rudraksha Jabala Upanisad.

 

I'm rather curious with this as its Hinduism cardinal rule that all

mantras must be given by the Guru, be initiated into it. All the more

we are talking about beeja mantras here. There is difference in

mispronouncing Lakshmi Ashtakam and mispronouncing a beeja mantra. For

the former, the most is Lakshmi will just ignore you while the later,

the yoginis guarding the mantra will curse you.

 

Thus, may the wise members of this societies enlighten us on this

matter. All the more, members of this society came from all over the

whole, who may not be familiar with Hinduism teaching, who is more

likely not to have to correct pronunciation of the mantras.
