Guest guest Posted July 9, 2008 Report Share Posted July 9, 2008 Namaste Hiroko, Its fine to buy rudraksha with honest money, whether from work, savings or gift from someone provided that the giver did not stipulate how you should spend the money. If the giver says you can only do certain things with the money, then he/she is giving with condition and therefore has a karmic hold over you. If he/she gives without condition, its better for their karma and your karma.
