Guest guest
Dear Hiroko, Namaste . In kalyuga no one can live happily ever after . There are intermittent bouts of happiness and mainly it is sadness or challenge or obstacles . Only a Yogi , or rishi or one who has left Samsara (wordly life) can live in Pramananda (happiness all the time ) . I think if a person is 70% times happy and only 30% times sad , he is a successful person . Also happiness is more a state of mind than actual physical state . A poor person with no money , can be happy sitting in open air and singing songs merrily and enjoy being alive , and a rich person can be cowering in his huge palatial house with death fears , disharmony or sickness . If a person decides that " I will be happy no matter what situation I am in " he would be happy atleast 70% of time . Also we need to look at situations from a different angle . Sometimes if we look at the same situation differently , we can find it acceptable . About the 17 mukhi mala , yes it is the Javanese one .
