Guest guest
Namaste Anil, Long time no see. Nice to hear from you again. Your method for sanctifying and energizing rudraksha is fine. Its a good short-cut method for busy people and it does the job well too. Then clean them up under running water or by changing the water several times. Then I warp them up in Paper Tissue and let them dry for a day or two and after I feel that they are completely dry, I dip them in oil ( if it's a silver chain) or apply oil individually to the beads ( if they beads are in a silk thread). This also I leave untouched for a day and then again wrap them in Paper Tissues to wipe of excess oil. Once the beads absorb the oil, I offer incense, show them ghee lamp and offer Naivedya ( usually dry fruits) and then wrapping them in my palm, I chant Lord Shiva's mantra 108 times and then wear them. Sometimes the excess oil does show up for a day or two and then its fine. > > Awaiting your views on the above, > > Aum Sree GauriShankaray Namah > > >
