Namaste Raja,

If its summer time and the temperuature is warm, then overnight drying is fine. If its wet weather, rainy or damp, then the beads will take more time to dry completely. The outside may seem dry when looking at them but the inside will still be wet. The best bet is to be patient and give them some time. Gauge according to the climate you're in. If rudrakshas are not thoroughly dry before oiling, in some cases mould may develop if the beads are not used regularly.

i have a question: i immerse the rudraksha beads in water for about 30 min and use the brush that was provided for and then rinse them again and wipe them off and let them dry over night. i thought that was a significant amount of time for them to dry. you are saying 1 to 2 days. does it really take that long for them to dry? by putting the oil on them after my procedure would that mean the oil is preventing them from drying?
