Namaste Muktesha,

A mala that is stringed in tune with one's birth chart is a Personal

Mala. They are malas for individual that relate and assimilate to the

owner on a personal level. There is a difference between a Personal

Mala and the Indra Mala and you are right that both have different

purposes. When we wear a Personal Mala, the Indra Mala when worn in

addition, gives a great boost to the circuitry of electromagnetic

energies of the Personal Mala and vice versa.

The purposes of Indra Mala are:

The Indrakshi mala is made up of one bead each of mukhis from 1 mukhi

till 21 mukhi according to the description in Katyani Purana. It is a

rare possession and only few fortunate persons in the world possess

this combination. Ancient texts say that possessing this mala is like

having entire Universe with you and makes a person " Ichadhari "

meaning His wish is the command to the Universe. According to Katyani

purana which describes this mala, blessings of Lord Shiva, Vishnu,

Durga, Ganesha, Surya and other dieties always stay with the wearer

of this mala and he get all his desires fulfilled. Gives protection

from any kind of harm or loss or danger. On seeing the wearer of this

mala all evils, negativity and negative forces are dispelled. Gayatri

Devi in all Her forms resides in this mala. Know more about Indrakshi

mala

For: The One Mukhi to 21 Mukhi Lord Indrakshi Mala would be worn by a

Community Leader to help manifest projects and programs for the well

being of others and their own Families also.

Purpose: The Lord Indrakshi Mala influences all the Siddhis for

accomplishment in the relative field and the absolute field. This

Mala generates all the attributes of destroying ignorance and

maintaining balance at the same time one is creating new positive

realities to help the Mankind and Womankind in this Age. A person who

wears this Mala is Awake 7 days a week and 24 hours a day and in the

middle of Creation and Manifestation and Destruction of Ignorance.

Design: Mala made of 1 mukhi till 21 mukhi of Nepalese origin in pure

gold with caps, central bead is the highly rare 21 mukhi. The

sequence of beads is 1 mukhi till 20 mukhi (clockwise).

Additional beads like Gauri Shankar, Ganesh, Trijuti are not

necessary in this mala, and may be kept separately in puja altar if

one desires to have them.
