Guest guest
There is a popular saying "When the going gets tough, the tough gets going." Inspite of being a qualified professional with loads of experience, I went through a bad patch in life i.e. I was without a job for 3 years in Calcutta. I started freelancing for a pittance in order to keep the kitchen fires burning. Three years is not a small period. I visited innumerable temples, performed various homas, poured milk on Shivlings in various Calcutta temples {in Chennai you are not even allowed access to the sanctum sanctorum [inner precints] of a temple} and stocked my house with crystal Shree Yantras, Vastu Yantras, Crystal Balls and kept my house ultra-clean. Nothing seemed to work and I wondered if this was the end. However, my wife and children supported me no end. In times of difficulty, my own younger brother and sisters deserted me. Fortunately, I persisted. After this at the age of 48 I took a major decision to shift to Chennai and look for a job. I got a job in 3 days with salary and perks beyond my widest imagination. The last 3 years have been absolute bliss and I am still continuing in the same job. Now-a-days I still visit various temples all over Chennai in my own airconditioned car. In Chennai a few months back, I consulted an astrologer, after making enquries about his competence. He said that the flat in Calcutta had very bad vastu and the fact that Jupiter (Brihaspati) was not very conducive had a telling effect. Plus the fact that that I was running through my Sani Mahadasa proved to be the last straw. This email is just to tell everyone not to give way to despair. Take whatever job that comes to you without worrying about salary and perks. This will uplift your mood and you will become more positive. Do not ever ever make the mistake of sitting idle at home which can only lead to despair. Thanks n regards Ramesh Iyer Meet people who discuss and share your passions. Join them now.
