Sir,

 

I had got a shiva pooja done on shivatri day and they had gifted me

with a very small parad shivling which I keep in my altar and pray

regularly. I had placed the shivling in a silver plate. However now I

see that the silver plate is getting corroded ( the place below the

shivling). I am not sure if this parad is very pure.

 

There is an astrological site who had done this pooja and sent

me the shivling.

 

I used to do abhishekam to this shivling every monday and our family

used to have the water as prasad. Looking at the silver plate getting

corroded I am a bit scared now.

 

Would this mean that the parad is leaking from the shivling. Also if I

have to dispose this shivling how do I do it so that there is no sin

acacculumated to me. and without humiliating the shivlinga and lord

shive. Please advise..
