Dear Ramesh Iyer,

Please tell your friend not to worry. Rudra Centre's Parad Shivling

which is made by Vaidya Shree Pundit Deenanathji of Jaipur is 100%

safe and non-toxic. He has studied and trained in many holy places

for most of his life. Vaidya Shree Pundit Deenanathji uses a process

of making parad non-toxic that was taught to him in Guru-shishya

tradition. In fact parad is a purified form of mercury.

With all Parad Shivling, Rudra Centre sends an Authentification

Certificate from Punditji Deenanthji. Regarding one from a reputable

testing laboratory, please contact them directly with your enquiry:

Btw, I have a Parad Shivling from Rudra Centre and also some parad

gutika (beads). The Parad Shivling is for worship and after every

abhishekam, we partake in prasadam. I wear the beads around my waist

with rudraksha, like a waist-belt and there have not been any

problems. All were made by Punditji Deenanthji.

Om Namah Shivaya
