Dear Blue,

Warmest welcome to you. Hope you will enjoy and benefit from this

Group. Sorry to hear of your circumstances since Shani Mahadasa

began to affect you since 2 years ago. Fully understand how tough it

can be and sometimes it seemed like no way out. But cheer up, there

are ways to placate Shani if you pray to Him as a Friend and Teacher

and ask him to look after you.

In Jyotish, other planets such as Jupiter are considered to

be 'gurus' but the real guru in the planetary system is actually

Shani, hence another name for Him is Shanaishcharaya. His effects

last the longest and His mahadasha also last the longest of all

planets. For a great part of our current lives, He affects us in

order to make us learn karmic lessons and complete them so they will

not be repeated again in future lives.

Your Jyotishi is correct in not recommending blue sapphire for you.

If the other gems don't seem to work, then take them off and store in

a safe place. Some suggestions below for you to consider and also

scroll down for answers to your questions........

a) Pray to Hanuman while wearing rudrakshas. Either 7 mukhi, 14

mukhi or Shani Dasha Mala (See next message). If possible, visit a

Hanuman Temple on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

b) Obtain a Shani yantra and offer prayers on Saturdays, light an

oil lamp with some black sesame seeds, light Patchouli incense, offer

flowers, jaggery, milk, honey, curd, fruit and unsalted nuts. Do not

be afraid of Saturn/Shani. He has the potential to be a mentor and

give blessings. Sit down and meditate for a few minutes asking Shani

to remove His effects, show you the way and bestow blessings upon

you. When ready, chant His Mantra 108 times with a Japa Mala. The

mantra is: Om Sham Shanaishcharaya Namah Om. Do this mantra sadhana

for 90 days.

c) Donate a Shani Shakti pack to a temple (see next message).

d) If you prefer 7 mukhi rudraksha, wear at least 3 beads or 9 beads

of them. If you prefer 14 mukhi, then one bead is enough. How soon

can effects appear depends largely on a person's past karmas and

those created knowingly or unknowingly during this lifetime. After

obtaining and beginning to wear rudraksha, its essential to chant Om

Namah Shivaya before putting them on. The beads may take 18 days to

90 days, maybe shorter to completely assimilate with your energies

and bring blessings - this is dependent on past life propensity with

the beads. In any case, holy texts mention that the instinct to find

or wear rudraksha is by way of Shiva's blessings during past births.

Its never too late to begin wearing rudraksha.

e) Many friends here possess both 7 mukhis and 14 mukhis. They have

written in about good effects they experienced. Since the messages

are too old to be retrieved, perhaps you can find them by scrolling

through Rudra Centre's Testimonials pages: http://www.rudraksha-

ratna.com/testimonialDt.php

f) There is no difference between Nepal and Java beads except Nepal

beads are bigger in size and Java beads are smaller. Nepal beads are

naturally bigger and look more robust due to the soil and altitude

conditions they are grown in. They are much more expensive due to

rarity of the higher mukhis, especially the beads in Collector Sizes.

Java beads although smaller, still have similar properties to that of

Nepal beads. The ruling deities and planets are the same too. For

first-hand stories, please visit and scroll through the pages at:
