Hi everyone, I am new here and am glad to find this group. I entered

my Saturn dasha two years ago and since then my life has been plagued

by unexpected expenses, losses in investments, personal situations I

have dreaded coming to pass, and illness to myself and others whose

care I am responsible for. It hasn't been nonstop, every now and then

I get a week or even a month where the rain stops falling, but it has

been bad. I consulted a Jyotish astrologer and even bought

appropriate gemstones which I wear continuously. I like to think that

they have blunted some of the worst effects, but honestly there's

still a lot of bad there.

What I am facing is that in two years, I will be entering my " Saturn

cycle " while within a twenty year Saturn dasha. My Saturn is in the

8th house. My astrologer advised me not to wear a blue sapphire as it

would make things worse, giving more energy to Saturn. At one point

I became skeptical and tried it, and it did make things worse so now I

will not touch a blue sapphire.

So my questions for anyone here is this:

1) How powerful are they effects of the 7 mukhi and 14 mukhi beads and

how immediate?

2) Does anyone have any firsthand stories?

3) How does the effects of the Java and Nepal beads differ? I've read

the web page about this on .com where they say they are

basically the same. Yet the Nepalese beads looks more robust yet they

are so expensive as well. Does anyone have experience to compare

both in their lives?

thank you all!
