Guest guest
Dear Sashi, The bija mantra for Lord Ganapatiji is to be pronounced " GuNg " , not Gam or Gum. When reciting aloud, its important to make the sound of GuNg. Gam and Gum sound like the word " grief " or " strife " in Sanskrit. When devotees recite Gam and Gum, they sometimes find that there are more problems around them instead of Ganapatiji removing them. This is because they asked Ganapatiji to bring strife or grief..... When saying the word GuNg, the tongue is suspended in the middle of the mouth. It does not touch the roof of the mouth nor the floor of the mouth. This is the same for Hreem and Kleem. Try it and see for yourself. To get the proper sound for GuNg, try Ang.... as in Angaracharya, OR Ung...... as in the English word for Unguent. ( Ended with " M " or " N " ) Because most of the mantras are ends with " EM " e.g. hreem or kleem etd. > Thanks, > > shashi. > > --- On Thu, 22/5/08, narasimhaye no_reply wrote: > > narasimhaye no_reply > RBSC : Request... > > Thursday, 22 May, 2008, 12:27 AM > > > Dear Sashi, > > Suggesting either 12 mukhi Lord Surya rudraksha or 8 mukhi Lord Ganesha > rudraksha for this purpose.
