Dear Itsmeanupriya,

 

Thread breaking on a mala is not considered inauspicious. It indicates

that the mala has deflected something negative and thus the thread

broke. Its great that you have rejoined the thread yourself. Its fine

to re-energize the mala at home in your puja room by performing Shiva

Puja.

 

When you get time later, slowly increase the mantra to 27 times daily,

then more later on.
