Guest guest
Dear Mahua, You are very blessed to have received a gift of Lord Ganesha's idol. The writing pose depicts Him writing the Mahabharata. This particular pose bestows, wisdom, insight, resilience, discipline and spiritual advancement. Some beliefs mention that right-trunk Ganapatiji is easier to worship and that left-trunk is harder. But from many reports of Ganesha devotees, both right and left are the same. Its the bhakti and faith that counts when worshipping or reciting the relevant mantra.
