Guest guest
Sairam, Happy Guruvaar to you all. May the blessings of Baba shower upon us bountyful and fill our lives with spiritual divine bliss. May the faith in Him be always be preserved. "Faith" is such a simple 5 lettered word and yet so powerful. We all take Baba as our param Sadguru, and it is the love of Baba that has brought us to this platform and you would agree with this. How many of us have implicit faith in our guru. When I say implicit, come what may we do not move away from the feet of our param sadguru, yet come the time of testing and peril, we run hither and thither in search for relief for our problems instantly. In this moder world of space age where everything is done in 2 minutes we expect our problems to vanish at the blink of an eye. When faced with difficulties we run from pillar to post seeking instant relief. Those who have absolute faith in Baba would realise that it is He alone who has brought us to the problem and it is HE again who will remove/help overcome the problem He brought on to us and sticking to His naam smaran and not letting our mind wander to other sadhus and saints however great they may be. Baba said "always be at one ment with your bolster". In other words stick to your guru and not wander everywhere. The problems we face are the result of our previous actions, because Baba loves us dearly He wants us to balance our karma so we can meet Him face to face. He knows what is best and also decides the timings, in the meantime we can get our energy through repitition of His name. How to develop faith? By reading Satcharita, a page, a para or a chapter depending on our convenience and HIS will. Thinking of Him and His name. Offering our first morself of Food to HIM who resides in our hearts, bowing to elders, being polite to others, for Baba dwels in them. These are few things which we can follow if we set our mind to it. So why delay.. let us show our faith towards Him... Here is the message for the week... "......My Guru never expected any other thing from Me. He never neglected Me, but protected Me at all times. I lived with him, and was sometimes away from him; still I never felt the want or absence of his love. He always protected Me by his glance, just as the tortoise feeds her young ones, whether they are near her or away from her on the other side of the river bank, by her loving looks. Oh mother, My Guru never taught Me any Mantra, then how shall I blow any Mantra in your ears? Just remember that Guru's tortoise-like loving glance gives us happiness. Do not try to get Mantra or Upadesh from anybody. Make Me the sole object of your thoughts and actions; and you will, no doubt, attain Paramartha (the spiritual goal of life). Look at Me whole-heartedly, and I in turn look at you similarly. Sitting in this Masjid, I speak the truth, nothing but the truth. No Sadhanas, nor proficiency in the six Shastras, are necessary. Have faith and confidence in your Guru. Believe fully, that Guru is the sole Actor or Doer. Blessed is he who knows the greatness of his Guru and thinks him to be Hari, Hara and Brahma (Trimurti) Incarnate." Chapter 18/19 SSS. Baba bless us and guide us always.
