Sairam,

Another Thursday, time flies, things change, people change, but Baba and His constant shower of blessings remain ever flowing on us. Baba blessed His devotees then during His physical presence and He is now with us even after His Mahasamadhi. Many people feel His physical presence to this day, and the ever increasing crowd in Baba's temple on Thursdays is a proof of His grace. I pray His grace showers on us now and always.

Baba's ways are strange, only He knows why He gives certain experiences in life. Only a true devotee who has implicit faith in Baba will learn from it, rest take this experience as a passing phase and run from it. If Das Ganu did not believe in Sai BABA words that Kaka's maid servant will teach Ganu the meaning of Isha upanishad, then Ganu would not have learnt from it. Though others made light of Baba's words, Das Ganu had complete faith in Baba and he benefited out of it. Similarly different people come into our life and they teach us and help us meet other people who play an important role in our spiritual progression. It is BABA who makes these arrangements for us. If one has faith then they are saved from every peril in life. We are in the spiritual journy since last 7 years and are into our 8th year now. Let us reflect back and see what we have learnt from this journy, how far ahead have we come and do we have enough faith in Baba to leave our life's string in His hand so He can guide us in the rest of our journey? We are together because we have faith, we have established that. Only thing is now we have to keep moving forward, serve Baba and know that whatever we face today is Baba's gift to us. Baba gives us not just happiness, in faith and devotion we get pain as well. This pain is due to our past actions or it could be Baba's way of cleansing us. Remember only those who have experienced pain in life will have the capacity to feel others pain and share their problems. When things come easy people have no appreciation for it. Let us thank Baba for all the pain and sufering for it has made us compassionate and kind humans. It is this feeling which has prompted us to pray for others and their well being. Here is the message for the week...

"

Amir shankar Amir Shankar was a native of the village Korale, in Kopergaon Taluka. he belonged to the butcher caste. He worked as a commission agent in Bandra, and was well-known there. He once suffered from Rheumatism, which gave him much pain. He was then reminded of God, and so, he left his business and went to Shirdi, and prayed to Baba to relieve him from his malady. Baba then stationed him in the Chavadi, which was then a damp unhealthy place, unfit for such a patient. Any other place in the village, or Korale itself would have been better for Amir, but Baba's word was the deciding factor and the chief medicine. Baba did not allow him to come to the Masjid, but fixed him in the Chavadi, where he got very great advantage. Baba passed via Chavadi every morning and evening; and every alternate day Baba went to the Chavadi in a procession and slept there. So Amir got Baba's contact very often easily. Amir stayed there for full nine months, and then, somehow or other, he got a disgust for the place. So one night he stealthily left the place and came to Kopergaon and stayed in a Dharmashala. There he saw an old dying Fakir, who asked him for water. Amir brought it and gave it to him. As soon as he drank it, he passed away. Then Amir was in a fix. He thought that if he went and informed the authorities, he would be held responsible for the death as he was the first and sole informant, and knew something about it. He repented for his action, viz. leaving Shirdi without Baba's leave, and prayed to Baba. He then determined to return to Shirdi, and that same night he ran back, remembering and muttering Baba's name on the way, and reached Shirdi before day-break, and became free from anxiety." Chapter 22 Satcharita.

Baba bless us and guide us always.

Humble pranams
