Guest guest
Thank you so much Narsimhayeji, The cracks are very fine and hairline, not so large so as to be able to insert some object like a drawing compass needle, and they are not a part of the natural grooves or facets on the beads. One dealer told me that it's ok. These cracks have developed on a few of the yellowish brown beads I had purchased. The blackish beads which I had purchased are perfectly fine even after 2 years. They are solid hard and lustrous, although slightly smaller in size 22mm. While R-R beads are bigger 23-25mm in size, yellowish brown in colour (maybe because they maybe freshly procured) and seem to be lighter in weight. It is only 1-2 months that I have purchased them. Few of these beads have shown such Hairline cracks radiating from the central hole. No offence or any ill-will intended; but this is what I have observed. Even the 8-mukhi which I had recently procured within a month has developed this. Fortunately the 13-mukhi which I had purchased 2 months ago is still fine. Can Neetaji please comment on this. Hari Om. Regards, Dr. Pritesh Patel
