Sincere thanks for including me in your mailing list for information/ news/ articles about our Bhagawan Baba. May I also request you to include the name of Sou.S.V.Mala, Principal of the S.V.V Matriculation School at Otteri, a village near Chennai. This school is being run by Mala and her sisters, all alumni of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning at Anantapur. When they passed out Swami gave a dikat to the sisters to go to a village and start a school based on The Educare System of our Swami. Starting with about 50 students up to class V in 1986, the school has currently over 900 students up to Class 12. The students of the school have won several awards in music, sports, athletics, sloga competition, academics etc in competition with children from elite urban schools. You may kindly consider including some news about the school in your mail inorder to create an awareness about the tremendous work being done by Mala and her sisters. If your mail is addressed to some devotees in Chennai, may I request that they spare some time to visit the school and see for themselves the work being done there for empowering rural children in an economically and socially backward area with value based education and more importantly. to transform the culture of the village and its neighborhood from one of violence, alcoholism, daylight murders to a society based on values.
