Dear Datta-Devotees

On 28th morning Sri Swamiji had a beautiful speech about the

festival of light, Deepavali.

Some essences of it:

On this day we are celebrating LIGHT AND WISDOM and the removal of

devilish forces. On this day Sri Krishna was defeating the mighty

demon Naraka, who got to rule all the 14 lokas, and with his evil

forces was disturbing all the Jeevas.

Paramatma Sri Krishna/Datta removes all the black spots in our life.

As Sakshi and all-knowing He has His own interplay! He co-operates

with Chitragupta the haevenly Bookkeeper, who has as his assistance

YAMA, the God of Time, Dharma, Birth and Death. He is in fact a

protector and progressor!!

We believe in Reincarnation/ Evolution. We have gone through many

stages (stone, plants, animal, human ....)

Today, Newmoon Kartikamasa (Scorpio-month) it is good to be in the

presence of Sadguru (also mentally!), who is Himself LIGHT and the

remover of all dark forces. YOU HAVE TO BE IN LIGHT ALWAYS! The

Jeeva's state in this life is a big struggle; we are in need of the

blessings of Sadguru who guides us to the sattwic state of mind, the

subtle mind, the spiritual knowledge. He helps to overcome our human-

limitations.

The Jeevatma is a Light (Atma) but enveloped in a body (Jeevi).

We have to discover the light within with the help of Guru, Prayers

and Spiritual Praxis.

KARTIKAMASA is the month of LORD SHIVA, the Healer and Lord of all

Wisdom.

Jaya Guru Datta

Parvati
