Pujya Sri Swamiji mentioned a few days back that this present month of Karthik

is special for the worship of Lord Shiva.

In observance of this,let us take our minds to the publication " SHIVA

KATHAMRITA " ,the foreword in particular,Quote (in part):

 

" Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji,the founder of Avadhuta Datta

Peetham,Mysore is well known as the present incarnation of Lord Datta.Just as

the Mother Nature reveals the Knowledge of the Father God to Her dear

children,Sri Swamiji ,during His musical discourses reveals the intricacies of

the mythological anecdotes in an easily understandable way while singing His

compositions as also the famous songs of the past Masters.

translation of His musical discourses named as Shiva Kathamrita i.e the nectar

of Shiva's stories.It is but natural that after having a glimpse of the cosmic

form of Shiva as the spiritual brilliance incarnate,a devotee would be further

interested to learn the divine,miraculous,supernatural events depicting Shiva's

infinte grace....

 

It is the divine intention of Sri Swamiji that these sweet nectar-like divine

plays be read and enjoyed by the English knowing devotees. " (end of quote).
