Happy Mahashivaratri was celebrated in many of the places in South India especially Bangalore on the 5th of March. Hence I had done the fast on the 5th of March and also did lord shivas abhishekam with Milk,Ghee,Water,Curds, Sugar and water as per the process. I was wondering as to why is this difference. Have I done this on a wrong day. May papers have written that this year Happy Mahashivaratri is on 2 days..I am just wondering as I did not fast today.
