Dear Manoj,

Namaskar, yes 1 mukhi and 12 mukhi are governed by the Sun but 12

mukhi also contains the 12 Adityas. One mukhi does not have

influences of the 12 Adityas.

Although 7 mukhi has similar properties to 14 mukhis, 7 mukhi is

ruled by Mahalaxmi while 14 mukhi is Deva Mani rudraksha with more

electromagnetic energies and good for awakening the 3rd Eye. That is

even though they both can pacify Saturn.

6 mukhi may have some similarities as 13 mukhi but 6 mukhi is ruled

by Kartikeya and 13 mukhi by Kamdeva. That is even though they can

negate the ill effects of Venus.

If you wife does not feel comfortable to wear multiple beads, its

fine for her to wear one single bead. Would suggest her to consider

either Nepal 14 mukhi or Java 14 mukhi rudraksha :

same properties as of 1 mukhi(both represents sun),like 7 mukhi is

having same properties as 14 mukhi (saturn) & 6 mukhi is also having

same properties as of 13 mukhi (venus),so can any one wear multiple

beads of lower mukhis to get the same effect of higher mukhi.
