I read in one of KP Astrology book that karma between Father,Mother,Child is inter-linked. For eg. A father goes abroad after the birth of his son. It is generally said that the luck of the child birth took the father abroad. But KP says that in the horoscope of father it could be seen that he might go abroad and in the mother it would be stated that her husband would go abroad and in the child that the father would go abroad. The same is the case of marriage as per KP.

Family spirituality and KarmaThis from a discussion I heard several years ago. (From long term memory).Please feel free to make some comments and corrections.And share with us.Apart from the individual Karma, individual planetary afflictions, spirituality and energies. , The members of the family especially wife and husband can effect the other. Other reasons mentioned.Prosperity belongs to the entire family; the major partners are husband and wife.Husband and wife are together and is a unit.(1) They share their energies during sexual co habitation there is a transfer of energy and Karma , due to mingling of subtle bodies.(tantric view)(2) People with multiple sexual partners do have lot more karma and garbage energies they inherit from their multiple sexual partners, of questionable character.The husband may be having good favorable planets in his chart, but the wife may be running a bad period astrologically.So, of one of them is wearing Rudraksha, doing japa and, Pujas and if the other one is running through a bad Graha period, the effects may NOT be optimal. I guess some type of spousal participation will help.Regarding the children after the upanayanam there is a near complete cut off between the energy bodies of mother and her son. I heard some time table (periods), But I do not remember them now. Mother's spirituality can affect the child for a short time.After all we all lived in our mother's womb, tenants in her body for 40 weeks. The father is only a seed donor.Now here people are talking about national karmic debit for US citizens.I.e national KarmaPlease feel free to criticize and comment. We all can learn from there.
