Guest guest
Namaste Anil, no problem, send any queries here any time...... There are some misinterpretations perhaps about the One Mukhi Rudraksha. When interpreted correctly, the first sentence should be along the lines of : One mukhi Rudraksha enlightens (enhances) the Super Consciousness (consciousness about the existence of God or the Divine, the Supreme). It provides improved concentration and the mental structure (mental space, time, vacuum) that helps to make specific changes regarding renunciation from worldly affairs (while one is praying, meditating or reciting mantras). The wearer enjoys all comforts (material comforts included) at his command but still remains unattached (to material things, meaning can do with it or without it). Therefore : 1) Yes a family person from young adulthood can wear One Mukhi. Householders can also wear. Pls see above regarding renunciation. 2) The gradual shift from worldly affairs will not affect the householder to the effect where he would make himself fully renunciate or become reclusive. There are many types of renunciation as in asbtaining from certain things like non-veg, dairy, etc. But to become fully renunciate, a person either enters a monastery or ashram, or journey to the jungle to spend time in sadhana. But the householder will become more pious and will not forsake the needs or requirements of his family. 3) If a person is an orphan or who has been given to an ashram since childhood to be raised a celibate disciple, then renunciation for spiritual upliftment of own's soul is important so that he/she can go forth to teach others, perform spiritual duties and some may even become parampara-holders. For a house-holder, practising spiritual upliftment while being part of a family and attending to its needs are both equally important. Its necessary to find a balance between the two. As householder, there is the karmic obligation to make sure the family is fine and everything is reasonably provided for. Then find time and attend to the spiritual side of yourself through puja, mantra, meditation, etc. If we do not have time for ourselves, then we do not have time for others. Hence its utmost important to find that "Inner Space" for yourself which will enable you to peacefully make space for other people. Hope all this makes sense...
