A " 5 min. " Seva to our Sadgurudeva.

Sri Swamiji felt very happy when informed that His materials were placed in the

Houston Public Library System recently. It would be wonderful to have Sri

Swamiji's Healing Music CDs, DVDs, and books in every major public library, and

important branch library in the US. If each one of us puts in some timely

effort, together we can make this happen by this Guru Purnima. It is easy.

 

Most public libraries have a strict policy that items received as gifts go

directly to a book sale and not to the library shelves for circulation to

patrons, unless there is a specific request for such items to be placed in the

collection, from the patrons of the library. This is where you can help.

 

If you have a library card, (if not, please obtain one), use it to put in a

written request at your local public library (you can do it in person or

online). Submit a list of items that the library needs to acquire of Sri

Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji's books, CDs and DVDs for the benefit of the

community.

 

You put in the request. I will contact the librarian to make the offer to donate

a few of the materials (courtesy dycusa) to the library. Let us work

hand-in-hand, and make this project succeed.

 

I can send you an email attachment of a descriptive list of selected items that

are available, and newspaper articles about Sri Swamiji, to pass on to the

librarian along with your request. You may choose specific items from the list

for your request, and let me know.

 

Kindly do it within the next few days, to coincide with my efforts to speak with

the librarians at each major public library system in the country. It will take

time for the materials to be shipped, cataloged and added to the collection once

we succeed in making them accept the items.

 

This will be a very significant seva that every one of us can perform. Please

let us do it. Swamiji will be very happy.
