Krishnastami was

celebrated in Prasanthi Nilayam

This morning right

before bhajans, students brought animals like cows, deer and a peacock into

mandir. Cows were decorated with colorful dress and their horns were all painted.

Accompanig them was Sathya Gheeta, swami's new elephant. Which was dressed up

in colorful dress. Swami blessed all the animals as part of the Krishnastami

celebrations.

Parthi Yatra

by Nalgonda devotees in Prasanthi Nilayam

Devotees from

Nalgonda district in Andhra Pradesh are here on Parthi Yatra. Yesterday evening

they did a rally singing bhajans and doing dances. It was around 7:30 pm, so

sorry about the bad pictures. You can see devotees from Nalgonda in orange

scarfs still in Puttaparthi. We don't have the exact numbers, but there are

quite a few of them here for the parthi yatra.

Thought for the

Day

In this

world, we find various schools of thought, like atheism, dualism, non-dualism,

qualified non-dualism, etc. The divine name of Keshava (an appellation for Lord

Sri Krishna) is the most important of all. The essence of all philosophies is

contained in this. It consists of three syllables, namely, Ka + esha + va,

which represent the Divine Trinity of Brahma, Eshwara and Vishnu, respectively.

Hence, Keshava symbolises the principles of creation (Brahma), sustenance (Vishnu)

and dissolution (Eshwara). Man can understand his true Self if he contemplates

on the divine name of Keshava and understands its significance.

Nondualismus, qualifizierten (bedingten?; d.Ü. unbekannt) Nondualismus etc.

" - A.d.Ü. nach Prof. M.
