Guest guest
Namaste Ritu, one interpretation for Vedic Knot is : Gathbandhan (Sacred Union of two souls): A knot in the sacred cloth of bride and bridegroom is tied and some rice may be kept in that knot by priest as a sign of prosperity and sacredness. Another interpretation is used by Vaastu practitioners but I don't know the details. For stringing malas, its a Simple Knot.
