Guest guest
Sairam, May BABA's blessings shower upon one and all and May HE guide us away from sins and temptations. Wish you all a happy Baba's day. When we visit temples, or undertake a religious work or ritual at home we expect everything to go smoothly. We are upset by harsh words and gestures of people during performing such religious works, is it not so? Let us take BABA's actions from Satcharita, BABA scolded Kaka when Kaka was involved in building the Saba mandap for BABA. It was a work undertaken to make his MASTER (baba) happy. So why should BABA get angry with Kaka. In another incident on Ram Navmi, BABA threw Tatya pheta in a fire and was swaying in rage, yet another instance when Shyama was bitten by the snake and he went to take shelter at BABA's feet, BABA got wild and said "Go Get away Come down, beware do not climb up". Why would BABA, get angry at HIS favourite devotees. For these people, their world revolved around BABA, there was no meaning in their life without BABA. Then why would BABA get angry with people. There is a lesson for us in this holy Book Satcharita. When we are abused by saints, or shown anger by elders of our family or things do not go as we expect them to go during religious functions, remember there is lords blessings in the form of abuse. God acts behind all these things. We say that god prevails everything, just as in Satcharita as devotees of BABA took HIS abuses as blessings in disguise to ward of danger and misfortune, so should we take all the things that we face, whether good or BABA as blessings of BABA. For her alone knows what is good for us and what is not. With abuses showered on us our karma is cleansed, our bad luck driven off by the harsh words. People do good to us. The message for today is to take everything as BABA's blessings for He alone knows our past, present and future. When we take shelter at His feet there then is no room to fear about anything. He protects us always... " Then Baba said to him - "Don't be afraid, don't care a jot, the Merciful Fakir will save you, go and sit quiet at home, don't go out, believe in Me and remain fearless and have no anxeity". Then he was sent home. Immediately afterwards, Baba sent Tatya Patil and Kakasaheb Dixit to him with instructions to the effect, that he should eat what he liked, should move in the home, but should never lie down and sleep. Needless to say that these instructions were acted upon and Shama got all-right in a short time. The only thing to be remembered in this connection is this - the words of Baba (or the five syllabled Mantra, viz, `Go, Get away, Come down') were not addressed to Shama- as it apparently looked - but they were a direct order to the snake and its poison not to go up and circulate through Shama's body. Like others well-versed in Mantrashastra, He had not to use any incantation, charged rice or water etc. His words only were most efficacious in saving the life of Shama. " Chapter 23 SSS.
