anything in return. Do not accept even gratitude, having dedicated all your

acts to the indwelling God. This will purify you so that you will be able to

listen to the sound of 'Soham' (I am He) that you repeat with your every

erfüllen das Ohr mit Lob oder Tadel und entziehen Dich dem spirituellen Weg.

erhebt. Diene ihnen in einer Haltung der Verehrung, ohne irgendetwas zurück zu

INNEWOHNENDEN GOTT gewidmet hast. Das wird Dich reinigen (läutern), so dass Du

fähig sein wirst, dem Klang des 'Soham' (ER ist Ich) zu lauschen, den Du mit

lampau. Janganlah engkau takluk kepada dikte yang diberikan oleh batin (baca:

pikiranmu), sebab ia akan membisikkan kata-kata pujian dan celaan yang

cenderung akan mendorongmu menjauhi jalan spiritual. Ikutilah panggilan Ilahi

yang bersumber dari dalam hati nurani. Layanilah sesamamu dengan semangat

ibadah, tanpa mengharapkan imbalan apapun juga. Engkau bahkan tidak perlu

mengharapkan ungkapan terima-kasih dalam setiap perbuatan yang telah engkau

dedikasikan kepada Tuhan yang bersemayam di dalam diri setiap insan.

Tindakan/praktek seperti ini akan memurnikan dirimu sehingga engkau akan

sanggup untuk mendengar suara 'Soham' (Aku adalah Dia) yang kau ulangi secara
