With the guidance of her gurus, Jayalakshmi was fortunate enough to have the Darshan(vision) of Sri Dattatreya Swami in person. The Swamiji gave her a lovable command. Prompted by that bidding, Jayalakshmi encouraged her parents to give her in marriage to Narasimha Sastry. The father agreed and performed the wedding of Jayalakshmi and Narasimha Sastry. Jayalakshmi started serving her husband with devotion and also continued her yoga practice, but she did not reveal her wonderful knowledge to anyone. A rich effulgence was developing in Jayalakshmi’s body and she was feeling that her mind was filled with blissful joy, all which made Jayalakshmi realize that she was pregnant. She also realized that according to Dattatreya’s divine will, the new incarnation of the Datta Guru entered her body. She took the permission of her husband and proceeded for rest to her parents house which was surrounded by thick forest and rivers and hills. Unpredictable in her nature, Jayalakshmi started to wander among the valleys, the forest and rivers, as the day of her delivery was approaching. On an auspicious day, Jayalakshmi woke up in the Brahma Muhurtham(4 a.m) and, without being seen by anyone, went up the hill and descended into the Brahma Kunda. Sri Guru Datta.
