Dattatreya Jayanti Celebrations in Mysore Ashrama - 12 December 2008

Dear Devotees,

 

Today was the main day of Dattatreya Jayanti Celebrations in Mysore Ashrama.

Pujya Sri Swamiji worshipped the Moola Virat Dattatreya Swamy in the morning.

Later, thousands of devotees performed Taila Abhishekam to the Murtis of

Dattatreya in Universal Prayer Hall.

 

Sri Swamiji, in His Datta Jayanti message gave a Dattatreya Mantra Upadesha to

be chanted by all devotees.

Teppotsava (raft festival) was held in the evening at Saptarshi Sarovara. Later,

Sri Swamiji performed Kakadarati

to Sri Kalagni Shamana Dattatreya Swamy.
